The Adventurers--Neldor, Rook, Sunny, and Auriel--have found themselves alone in their stronghold. Old remnants of life have been covered now by scorch marks. As they search for what’s happened to their beloved home, they are met only with emptiness and a strange change in the state of the doors that separate this stronghold from the rest of Tear.
